Welcome!
I am a Ph.D. candidate at Michigan State University, in the lab of Dr. Fred Dyer. I am working towards a dual degree in Integrative Biology and Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, and Behavior (EEBB) at Michigan State University. I am broadly interested in how animals make moment-to-moment foraging decisions. Specifically, I study how social bees decide when to feed on a resource vs when to search for a new resource, as well as how this "exploitation-exploration" balance changes in response to uncertainty in the environment and shapes species differences in activity and lifespan. |
